OPPORTUNITY: SOUS CHEF
We're on the hunt for a passionate leader with at least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef (or in a similar leadership role), 5 years in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and expertise in Japanese and Korean cuisine - especially in yakitori.
As Sous Chef, you'll be a key player in our kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards in food preparation and presentation. In return, we offer a competitive salary, attractive staff discounts, and unparalleled on-the-job training.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards
Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes
Collaborating with the Executive & Head Chef to develop and execute new menu items
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation & kitchen
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies for our growing venue
Assisting with team development & culture
